The third defeat in a row Israel adesanya in the UFC resonates. The former middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg) was knocked out for its Nassourdine Imavov last Saturday (1st), at UFC Saudi Arabia. Earlier, the Nigerian had already been placated by Sean Strickland e Dricus du Plessis. In the opinion of Kamaru Usman, 'The Last Stylebender' should follow in the footsteps of Anderson Silva.

“For Israel, man, honestly, he’s at a point in his career where he remembers when Anderson Silva It got to that point. It was like, 'I'm going to pick a fun fight. It's a fun fight, it's a fight that I think is going to be great, that people want to see this fight,' because Izzy showed that he can still fight, he was still sharp," said the former welterweight champion (up to 77kg) in the podcast he shares with Henry Cejudo, 'Pound-4-Pound'.

'The Last Stylebender' was a disappointment due to the result of UFC Saudi Arabia. Adesanya praised the work done by his opponent, but cited his family, team and fans to express his frustration.
“Disappointed. I hate to disappoint my fans and my team. My team is still proud of me for the work I put into this. It’s just the emotion and the agony,” Adesanya told 'ESPN' after the fight.
“You have to actually be in it to know. Only a privileged few will ever get to that point and understand. To be able to feel something so grand, but also to be able to feel something so deep and so frustrating. It’s a fucking lovely game, but it’s a stupid game at the same time.”
