“I want to go up and win another belt. And at the end of the day, I want to be seen as the greatest fighter that ever walked this Earth. That’s my ultimate goal and that’s what keeps me going no matter what you accomplish.” said From Plessis to 'ESPN MMA'.
During the interview, 'Stillnocks' explained why he sets high goals. The champion's philosophy is all about maintaining the highest level of the sport.
“Because if you set your goals to make it to the UFC or to be UFC champion and you achieve that, then what’s next? 2024 was a huge year for me, but 2025 will be so much more, now the goal of being champion has been achieved,” he explained.
“There’s a lot more to come. Defending this title, taking over the division and I’m still a long way from really dominating the division to a place where there’s no competition anymore,” he concluded.
