Dana White has no plans to step down from the helm of the world's largest MMA organization any time soon. The UFC CEO has responded to the constant rumors and speculation that he is stepping away from the company and the promotion is preparing to find a successor.
In an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, the Ultimate boss stated that if he didn't leave the ship after the sale to Endeavor, in 2016, for just over US$ 4 billion (around R$ 23 billion, at the current exchange rate), he won't do it now.

“Everybody changes when they make a lot of money. No matter what walk of life you’re in, when you get to a certain level of success, you have to be a certain type of person to stay hungry and keep fighting every day. When we sold in 2016, 99% of people said I was going to retire and walk away. That’s not who I am,” Dana told Tucker Carlson on his podcast.
“I’m still building new brands and doing shit I don’t need to do. But I do it because I love it. Do you know how many people in my shoes in 2016 would have bailed out?” he asked.
Dana White says he doesn't have this profile and there's no chance he'll change his mind in the future. The boss of the giant in the world of fighting loves his job and used his famous '100%' speech to affirm this.
“I will never retire. Never. I will keep pushing this until the day I drop dead. I love it, 100%.”, he concluded.
