UFC-107 takes place today in Memphis

B.J. Penn vs. Diego Sanchez

Everything is ready in Memphis for UFC-107, the organization's last event in 2009. At the show, the main fight of the night will be the fight for the lightweight title, where the Hawaiian B.J. Penn will defend his belt against the American Diego Sanchez.

“I’m looking forward to defending the title. I know the type of athlete he is Diego Sanchez and that's why I'm training a lot. This will be a great test”, said the champion B.J. Penn.

“I always wanted to face the best fighters. I've been working hard for this and finally I'm going to fight for the title. I'm training like never before and I expect a war inside the octagon”, said the challenger Diego Sanchez.

In the preliminary fights, four Brazilians will be in action. Wilson Gouveia will face the American Alan belcher. Richard Funch will make his debut for the organization against the undefeated John hendricks and the Brazilians Rousimar Toquinho and Lucio Linhares face each other in the middleweight category.
