“I have 99 problems, but Bethe is not one of them,” said Rousey, in an interview with “The View”, on the North American broadcaster “ABC”. The phrase is a clear reference to the song “99 problems”, by rapper American Jay Z, who says: “I have 99 problems, but a bitch is not one of them”. The word “bitch”, “bitch” in English, has a similar pronunciation to the Brazilian woman’s first name.

The UFC champion once again stated that the fight with Correia became a personal issue, especially due to the provocations made by the Brazilian after defeating two of the American's friends, Shayna Baszler and Jessamyn Duke.

“Female fighters are different, because we take it more personally. The men, when the fight ends, hug each other and pat each other on the butt, while the women remain irritated. Nothing is resolved after the fight. We are more emotional in this sense. A woman’s instinct is different,” explained the American.
