The world's biggest MMA event started the 2025 season on the right foot. In UFC Las Vegas 101, held this Saturday (11), in the United States, nine of the 13 duels ended quickly. However, the highlights of the night were the Brazilian duo Cesar Almeida e Mackenzie dern, in addition to the exciting clash in the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg).

According to reporter Evelyn Rodrigues, during the broadcast of UFC Fight Pass, the former Glory fighter and the Jiu-Jitsu world champion received the 'Performance of the Night' bonus. Each took home US$50, around R$302 at the current exchange rate, for their impressive victories: a brutal knockout by César Almeida about Abdul Razak Alhassan and a completion of Mackenzie dern against Amanda ribas.
In addition to Brazilians, Chris Curtis e Roman Kopylov were also awarded. The duo starred in a true battle inside the octagon, which ended with a spectacular knockout by the Russian at the last second.
