UFC releases list of TUF Brasil 4 participants

The UFC announced this Wednesday (18) the 32 fighters who will participate in TUF Brasil 4, the organization's reality show broadcast on Rede Globo. In a press conference in Rio de Janeiro, the program's technicians Rodrigo Minotauro e Mauricio Shogun, who will lead the attraction, announced those selected.

Among the highlights are renowned fighters on the national scene such as Matheus Nicolau, Dileno Lopes e Giovanni Soldado, among the roosters. Among the lightweights, the Argentine Nazareno Malegarie, with experience at Bellator and training partner of Thiago tavares, and veteran Edson PC are the highlights.

Nicknames

In addition to athletes with some prominence in Brazil, the nicknames of fighters less known to the general public also caught attention on the list.

Among the roosters the list includes: Franklyn “Arrocha”, Renato “Franguinho” and Maycon “Boca”. In the lightweight division, nicknames are also highlighted: Fernando “Açadogueiro”, Adilson “Jack Godzilla”, Erick “Índio Brabo”, Carlos Alexandre “Mistoca”, Raush “Cavalo de Guerra”.

The program

The fighters, who are divided into the bantamweight (up to 61,2 kg.) and lightweight (up to 70,3 kg.) categories, will face each other in 16 elimination fights in the debut episode and thus the names that will be defined will be defined. They will finally enter the TUF house and participate in the reality show tournament.

The first episode of TUF Brasil 4 will be shown on April 5th, after Big Brother Brasil. The two winners will be hired by the UFC.
