Now it's official. Fabricio Werdum jthe information had already been “leaked” a few weeks ago, but the Ultimate organization confirmed that the interim heavyweight champion will face the lineal champion Cain Velazquez for the unification of the belts at UFC 188, on June 13, in Mexico.

Along with the announcement, the organization released the official poster for the event. The card's official slogan is “Solo puede haber uno” (or “There can only be one”, in free translation). The message alludes to the fact that both athletes currently hold belts in the 120 kg category, but only one of them emerged as champion after the duel in Mexico City.

In the image, both Velasquez and Werdum appear holding their belts, below the inscription “Champion x Champion”. The poster, however, highlights the North American's relationship with his Mexican roots, showing him with a Mexican flag in hand.
