After the night of surprises at UFC Fight Night 61, in Porto Alegre (RS), Brazilian fighters saw the event's prizes being distributed to their tormentors. Marion Reneau, Matt Dwyer, Sam alvey e Frank mir They were rewarded with “Performance of the Night”, each receiving US$50.

All the fighters awarded at the event defeated Brazilian athletes in the first round of competition. Reneau submitted Jéssica “Bate Estaca” Andrade with a triangle choke; while Dwyer, Alvey and Mir knocked out, respectively, William Patolino, Cezar Mutant e Antonio Pezão.

The outcome of UFC Fight Night 61 was negative for Brazilian fighters. Out of ten participants, only three won: Ivan Batman, Douglas D'Silva and Adriano Martins, who beat Josh Shockley, Cody Gibson and Rustam Khabilov.
