In the midst of preparation for another duel in the octagon, Derrick Lewis surprised by sharing his opinion on the future of Alex Poatán at the UFC. During the 'media day' of the UFC Edmonton, the American showed great enthusiasm at the possibility of seeing the Brazilian competing in the heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg).

“I think anybody would do well at heavyweight. Most of us are just big guys. You know how easy it is to knock out a big guy. I think he’ll do very well,” Lewis said.

Lewis, who faces the Brazilian Jonathan Diniz this Saturday (2), in Canada, he justified his bet on Poatan by highlighting the Brazilian's large physique in projection to possible opponents in a new category.

“We’re just big guys, that’s all,” added the American.
