Although UFC president, Dana White, confirmed the continuity of Anderson Silva as one of the coaches of reality show The Ultimate Fighter Brasil 4, the matter still seems far from being resolved. Rede Globo, the broadcaster responsible for broadcasting the program, sent director JB Oliveira, aka Boninho, to Las Vegas (USA) in order to discuss the matter personally with members of Ultimate.

The information was revealed by journalist Daniel Castro, on his blog “Notícias da TV”. According to the article, conversations between Boninho, responsible for reality shows from Globo, and the UFC will decide whether Anderson, recently caught in an anti-doping test, will continue on the program, or whether, in the event of his removal, what action will be taken.
Recording for the program began last Monday (2) and, so far, Anderson has participated in the attraction normally. The blog, which cites a source from Rede Globo, explained that, at the moment, the fights that define the program's participants are being recorded, and Anderson's participation could be eliminated in the edition without compromising its general content.
However, the final decision regarding the participation of “Spider” will only be made after the judgment of the Nevada Athletic Commission, which should happen later this month.
Anderson Silva was caught using anabolic substances in a surprise doping test carried out on January 9th. The test result, however, was only released on February 3, shortly after his victory over Nick Diaz. The other TUF Brasil 4 coach is Mauritius Shogun.
