Anderson Silva denies doping and promises to 'fight to clear his name'

Anderson SilvaThe silence lasted a short while Anderson Silva. Less than a day after being caught taking an anti-doping test before UFC 184, held in the early hours of last Sunday, Spider gave his version of the incident.

Through a statement, Anderson recalled that he has been in the sport for almost two decades, guaranteed his innocence and promised that he will do everything to make this clear.

“I have not used any type of performance enhancing substance. My positions on drugs are and will always be the same. I am an advocate of clean sports”, said an excerpt from the publication. The Brazilian also guaranteed that he will not comment on the case until the process with the Nevada Athletic Commission, the entity responsible for the exam, progresses.
