Former UFC champion chases thief and recovers bag in Paris: 'Kick in the ass'

Former UFC middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg), Michael Bisping starred in an unusual scene on the streets of Paris. During breakfast with his wife, the British man was the victim of a robbery, but he did not let the crime go unnoticed. In a quick chase, the current commentator recovered the stolen bag and put the thief to flight.

The adventure took place after the UFC Paris, an event that marked Bisping's return to France. Taking advantage of his stay, the former fighter decided to spend a few more days in the city, but the peaceful breakfast was interrupted by a thief who took advantage of a moment of distraction by the couple to steal his wife's bag.

Without thinking twice, the former champion set off in pursuit of the criminal. In an amusing account on his social media, Bisping described the scene as worthy of an action movie, complete with a chase and recovery of the bag. The thief, according to the British, offered no resistance and fled after having the valuable object taken back.

“Earlier today I had to stop a crime. I was sitting having breakfast with Rebecca on the streets of Paris and some idiot stole her bag and ran away. I ran after him, grabbed him and he already had the bag hidden. I took the bag from him and he didn’t speak a word of English, obviously. I didn’t do anything to him, I took the bag back and he was shitting his pants, poor guy. He was like, ‘Please, please.’ I let him go. I turned around and kicked his ass. Such an idiot. Anyway, I got the bag back. All is well,” Bisping wrote on his official Instagram.

O UFC Paris happened last Saturday (28) and had Renato Moicano in the main fight of the night. The Brazilian had a standout performance, overcoming Benoit Saint-Denis and achieved his fifth consecutive victory in the organization.
