With four days left for the long-awaited UFC 307, Alex Poatán appears as a clear favorite in bookmakers to defend the light heavyweight belt (up to 93 kg) against Khalil Rountree Jr. Despite this, MMA icons like Michael Bisping, Kamaru Usman and now Chael Sonnen believe the challenger has a chance to shock the world.
In a recent edition of the 'Good Guy / Bad Guy' podcast, with Daniel Cormier, Chael Sonnen said he believes that all the signs that precede a big 'underdog' are present in the duel between Alex Poatán e Khalil rountree.

“This card is set up for an upset. I’m not making a prediction, but I’m telling you right now that everything can go wrong for Pereira in terms of the commonalities of all upsets are there. If you find yourself in a tougher fight than the public thinks you are, if you find yourself in a tougher fight than you were expecting, if you find yourself in a fight where the guy is going to play his game. Alex Poatán e Khalil rountree face each other in the main fight of the UFC 307, in Salt Lake City, Utah, in the United States, on Saturday night (5). The event also features the bantamweight belt dispute (up to 61,2 kg) between Rachel Pennington e Julianna Pena.
