UFC on FOX 14, an event that will take place this Saturday (24) in Stockholm, Sweden, will chart important directions for the future of the UFC light heavyweight division. After all, the main fight of the night, between Alexander Gustafson e Anthony Johnson, shall reward the winner with an opportunity to challenge the current division champion, Jon Jones.

For Gustafsson, the attraction has an even greater meaning. Away from the Octagon since March last year, the Swede wants to establish himself once and for all as a star in his home country, as the fight is expected to attract more than 25 fans to the Tele2 Arena stadium. If he wins, “The Mauler” will have the opportunity to rematch Jones, who defeated him in a close fight in September 2013.
However, Johnson hopes to surprise once again in the UFC and silence the fans in the stadium. With two consecutive victories since returning to Ultimate, over Phil Davis e Rogério Minotouro, “Rumble” bets on his heavy hand to defeat the Swede and steal for himself the chance to win the belt.
Without the participation of Brazilians, the event features two more notable fights. In the co-main fight of the night, Dan Henderson tries to survive his career against Gegard Mousasi, in a fight that marks his return to the middleweight division. Before, Phil Davis e Ryan bader high-level wrestlers face off.
