However, between the two possible opponents, the Palestinian seems to have an opinion about who is the most dangerous. In an interview with the American YouTube channel 'Submission Radio', Muhammad defined Usman as the more intelligent fighter.
“Honestly, Kamaru (the toughest fight), because he’s fought at the highest level for a long time. And stylistically he has one of the best IQs in the game. So I think for me, fighting someone with an IQ close to mine would be a tougher fight,” he said.
Following the same line of reasoning, the fighter recalled the fight between the former champion and Khamzat Shimaev, which took place in the top category in Abu Dhabi last year.
“People forget who you are so quickly, but he fought Khamzat and it was a game of inches in that fight. If there had been two more rounds, I would have been very interested to see how it would have gone. This guy (Chimaev) was immortal, and Kamaru made him look mortal on eight days’ notice. That’s why I think he would have been one of the toughest fights in the division,” he added.
