Dana White dared to make a prediction that shook the world of sports: MMA is destined to become the biggest sport in the world, surpassing even football.

In an interview with 'Fox Sports', the UFC president justified his statement and highlighted the sport's universal appeal.

“The beauty of MMA is that it transcends barriers. No matter your background, your culture or your language, fighting is something inherent to being human. All of us, at some point, have felt challenged and the desire to fight is something that unites us,” said Dana.

The boss believes that the public's identification with the fighters is one of the main factors for the sport's success.

“When you find a fighter who comes from a difficult background and surpasses all expectations, people connect with that story. MMA is a sport that inspires and excites, and that’s what makes it so special,” he concluded.

Global expansion, with fighters from all continents, and the popularization of the sport, especially among new generations, are evidence of the success of MMA.
