Almost exactly one month after beat Lupita Godinez at UFC Abu Dhabi, on August 3rd, Mackenzie dern has once again achieved an important result, this time in a very different environment from the octagon of the largest MMA organization in the world. The Brazilian finished in fourth place in a poker tournament held last Sunday (1), at the Wynn casino, in Las Vegas, in the United States.
The competition, played in the 'No Limit Texas Hold'em' format, had approximately 140 players, with a participation fee of US$ 500 (approximately R$ 2,8 thousand) and US$ 60 thousand (approximately R$ 337 thousand) in total prize money. Fourth place in the tournament, Mackenzie won US$ 5207 (approximately R$ 29,2 thousand).

Multiple champion and legend in jiu-jitsu, Mackenzie dern has been a UFC athlete since 2018. The Brazilian born in the United States is coming off a victory over the Mexican Lupita Godinez and currently occupies seventh place in the strawweight ranking (up to 52,1 kg).
The next challenge of Mackenzie dern is already confirmed. The Brazilian faces her compatriot Amanda ribas in revenge in UFC Tampa, on December 14. The first confrontation between the two took place in October 2019 and marked Mackenzie's first defeat in professional MMA.
