Durinho downplays problems in facing training partners to reach the title: 'we don't care'

Brazilian opens the door to fights against Kamaru Usman and other professional colleagues; fighter to appear on September 7

Thirsty to achieve a new title fight in the welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg), Gilbert Durinho opened up and commented on the fact that he is surrounded by training partners in the elite of the category. In a sincere stance, the athlete downplayed the problems in facing them and assured that there is no rivalry when it comes to great opportunities to be achieved in the UFC.

“The best case scenario would be to win Sean brady, finish him quickly, beat Kamaru and beat whoever the champion is, Shavkat (Rakhmonov), I don’t care. We know we’re going to fight each other. We don’t care. It’s not bad blood, honestly. We train. We make each other better, but everyone wants to be the best,” Burns said on the podcast. 'Believe You Me'.

In addition to those mentioned, the Brazilian also highlighted a possible meeting with Ian Machado Garry and did not hesitate in stating that he would be willing to measure forces against the organization's prospects.

"Even Ian Gary, we have a great relationship. He's a great guy. I have nothing but respect. We always have fun. I've been there for his fights. But if they offer, we'll both say yes. I don't care. If we have to fight, we have to fight. May the best man win. “Oh, we sparred before. Yeah, so what? We sparred, but I'm not trying to kill him. We were just sparring,” he concluded.
