The fighter's mother, Camille Jones, said that her son left hospital the next day, even planning to go watch on the spot, this Sunday (18), in the final of the NFL American Conference (American football league) between the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots – teams for which his brothers Arthur and Chandler play, respectively.

White stated that Jones' mother's account does not fully correspond with reality. “It wasn’t quite like that. When the whole story comes out, people will put it in perspective and understand. When Jones gives his own interview, the truth will come out, and everyone will understand. Or they won't, you never know. Jones is a guy who polarizes people – they either love him or hate him. In any case, the truth will come to light soon”, said the leader, without going into much detail, in an interview with the North American newspaper “Boston Herald”.

Jones, 27 years old, was caught with one of the active ingredients of cocaine about a month before his fight against Daniel Cormier, at UFC 182. Because the test was carried out outside the competition period, the fighter is not subject to punishment. Such measures could only be applied by the Nevada Athletic Commission if the fighter was caught in the anti-doping test carried out after UFC 182, the results of which have not yet been released.
