the future of Casey kenney in the UFC could be at risk. The flyweight (up to 56,7kg.), who was once considered one of the biggest promises in the category, found himself involved in a domestic violence scandal. His ex-girlfriend's mother, Esther Reyes, accuses the fighter of physical assault, in a case that shocked the world of mixed martial arts.

According to Reyes' report, the incident occurred on Monday (22), when she found her daughter being attacked by Kenney. The victim's mother claims to have called the authorities, but the fighter allegedly locked the residence, preventing police action.

“He is still free. The incident happened on Monday, July 22nd,” the alleged victim’s mother wrote on her Instagram account, where she also called Kenney a “tramp” and “psychopath.”

The accusations against Kenney come at a delicate time in his career. The North American, who was once considered one of the top names in the flyweight division (up to 56,7kg), has been away from the Octagon for three years and has no fights scheduled in the UFC. The case is under investigation and Ultmiate has not yet officially commented on the matter.
