UFC 182 gave many reasons to celebrate for Jon Jones. In addition to defeating your arch-rival Daniel Cormier and defending the light heavyweight belt for the eighth time, “Bones” received the biggest salary of the event, pocketing half a million dollars.

According to the list released by the Nevada Athletic Commission, Jones' salary of US$500 was considerably higher than Cormier's, who received US$90. The challenger's payment for the belt was even lower than what was offered to Donald Cerrone, who, with the bonus for his victory over Myles Jury, took home $140.
The only Brazilian to participate in the event, Rodrigo Damm had his salary at US$ 12 thousand, while his opponent, Evan dunham, took US$54 thousand. The list released by the Nevada Commission does not include the bonuses distributed after the event, which award “Fight of the Night” and “Performance of the Night” to two fighters.
