In preparation for the first defense of the middleweight title (up to 83,9kg.), Dricus Du Plessis is determined to take advantage of Adesanya's return to the Octagon as his ally. Willing to 'wreak chaos' against his rival, the South African believes that the sabbatical period taken by the challenger could be a favorable point for his style and performances during clashes. Duel takes place on August 17th, at UFC 305.

“Time off is not necessarily the problem; It can be good, but it can be bad.
