Target of harsh criticism from Luke Rockhold, Sean Strickland he did not hesitate to respond to the request made by his compatriot to the UFC. Aware that the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg) would like to return to Ultimate to 'beat' him, Tarzan sent a harsh message to the veteran and recalled training sessions in which he was dominant against his new opponent.

“A few things… I sparred with you for a round and completely fucked you and as always you ran away like a bitch. This was witnessed. We have also been scheduled to fight. I said: 'Now yes. That's easy money.' And you bailed with just a few weeks to go. Xtreme (Couture)? I’m going to f*ck you for fun,” Strickland said on his official ‘X’ account (formerly Twitter).

In a recent speech, Luke stated that he hates his compatriot and that he would like to have the opportunity to return to the UFC to face him.
