Strickland's partner challenges Borrachinha and suggests ideal date for confrontation

Chris Curtis avoids adopting a provocative stance and states that it would be an honor to exchange punches with a Brazilian in the octagon

Current 15th place in the middleweight rankings (up to 83,9kg.), Chris Curtis shows that he is thirsty to face Paulo borrachinha Next. Aware that the Brazilian is going through a bad time in the organization, his training partner Sean Strickland wishes to take advantage of the opportunity to apply for a duel against the athlete. On his social networks, the North American challenged the Minas Gerais native.

After receiving no answers from the Brazilian, Curtis reinforced his interest in facing him and continues, until now, waiting for some reaction from Borrachinha.

An MMA veteran, Curtis represents Xtreme Couture, the gym where he trains with Sean Strickland, Roman Dolidze, Cesar Almeida and other big names in the sport. The athlete is currently coming off a defeat to Brendan allen after fighting against his compatriot in April and being defeated in a split decision by the judges.

On the other hand, Borrachinha suffered a fourth setback in the last five appearances and reached eighth place in the division ranking. Looking to return to the path of victory, the Brazilian stated that he will return to being as aggressive as he was at the beginning of his career in the UFC.
