O recent postponement last minute press conference UFC 303, which would take place last Monday (3), in Dublin, Ireland, has been causing a lot of concern among fans, who fear the cancellation of the clash between Conor McGregor e Michael chandler. Former champion and current Ultimate commentator, Daniel Cormier is also among those concerned.
During a recent edition of the 'Good Guy/Bad Guy' podcast, with Chael Sonnen, on the North American 'ESPN', Daniel Cormier admitted to fearing the worst and after trying, unsuccessfully, to contact UFC officials to find out about the situation.

“To me, it seems like a big deal. I tried to talk to many people in the organization to find out what happened and when no one says anything, something tells me that it is worrying”, said the former champion.
Cormier's partner on the podcast, Sonnen showed more optimism and raised the possibility that McGregor had canceled his press commitments to focus on training, but 'DC' disagrees.
“I can't imagine that, if everything had been fine, he wouldn't have informed them a little earlier to cancel the flights and inform everyone. I really do not know. We’re just guessing,” countered Cormier.
Former featherweight (up to 65 kg) and lightweight (up to 70,3 kg) champion and most popular name in UFC history, Conor McGregor has been away from the octagon since July 2021, when he suffered a serious leg injury in the defeat to Dustin poirier.
