Paulo borrachinha returned to manifest itself after the defeat suffered by Sean Strickland No. UFC 302. On his Instagram profile, the Brazilian thanked the support of his businesswoman and companion, Tamara Alves, and took the opportunity to send a message to the tormentor from last weekend. The action displayed a moment of humility for the miner.
“Thank you for your help and support, Tamara Alves. Thank you, UFC, for believing in me and being a great place to work. I thank my colleague and great fighter, Sean Strickland. Next time, we promise a better presentation to the fans. It’s all or nothing”, wrote Borrachinha.

Last weekend, Paulo promoted his second commitment in 2024. In February, the Brazilian ended a hiatus of more than a year and ended up beaten by Robert whittaker.
With the new setback, the miner's retrospect turned on a warning signal. Borrachinha suffered four defeats in the last five matches.
Former challenger for the middleweight belt (up to 83,9kg), the Minas Gerais native was not the only one who expressed discomfort with his performance. Accustomed to praising the Brazilian, regardless of victory or defeat, Dana White was critical of the athlete's stance.
The stumble against Strickland resulted in the Tupiniquim losing a position in the ranking. Now, Borrachinha occupies eighth place.
