Last Saturday (13), Brazilian Rousimar Palhares successfully defended his UFC welterweight belt for the first time. World Series of Fighting. To achieve this, Toquinho, as he is known, submitted former UFC fighter Jon Fitch in just over a minute in the main fight of WSOF 16.

The fight also had its share of controversy. As has happened on other occasions in the past, Toquinho was heavily questioned for allegedly holding the kneebar that gave him the triumph over Fitch for too long.
