After a dominant victory over Jack shore No. UFC 301, held in Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian Joanderson Tubarão The organization already has a new commitment. On July 20th, the featherweight (up to 65,7k) from Tupiniquim will face the experienced Dan Ige, top-15 in the category. The duel will take place at the traditional Apex, in Las Vegas (USA). Hired by the organization in 2022, Joanderson was defeated by Bill Algeo in his debut with the organization. After that, the Brazilian athlete had five consecutive victories, over André Fili, Lucas Alexandr, Westin Wilson, Jonathan Pearce and Jack Shores, all of them via the fast lane. At 29 years old, 'Tubarão' has an MMA record of 17 wins, three setbacks and one draw.
Thirteenth in the featherweight rankings, Dan is also enjoying a good moment in the company with three wins in his last four fights, two of them by knockout, and he shook off the bad phase he went through between 2020 and 2021 when he managed to correct four setbacks in five commitments. At just 32 years old, the '50k' boasts a record of 18 positive results and just seven negative results in his career as a professional.
The July 20th card already has 10 confirmed fights with four other Brazilians scheduled: Kaynan Kruschewsky, Amanda lemos, Virna jandiroba e Luan Carolina.
