Accused of 'running away' from fight in UFC 302, Paulo borrachinha reacted to the controversy raised by Sean Strickland. On his social networks, the middleweight star (up to 83,9kg) mocked the action of the former category champion, who suggested that the Brazilian had not signed a contract. With good humor, the miner joked about the situation by publishing a fictitious contract.
"I signed, Sean Strickland. I never disappoint. The people depend on me”, wrote Borrachinha.

Last Wednesday (15), Tamara Alves, Paulo's partner and manager, clarified the situation exclusively to SUPER FIGHTS. The agent assured that the Brazilian will be present in the confrontation which represents the co-main fight of the UFC 302.
The challenge against Strickland marks the second appearance of the Minas Gerais native in the 2023 season. In February, the athlete climbed into the octagon to face Robert whittaker and ended up being overcome in battle.
Former champion of the group, Sean has his first commitment after losing the middleweight belt against Dricus Du Plessis. The North American tries to regain his status as challenger to the throne.
