Former UFC athlete points out 'unbeatable' name in the bantamweight division: 'There is no one to beat her'

Aspen Ladd praised Kayla Harrison and said that there is no one capable of beating the American in Ultimate

With the experience of those who have already faced Kayla harrison, the North American Aspen ladd outlined a bright future for judoka in Ultimate. In an interview with 'MMA Junkie', the former UFC athlete recalled her confrontation against the two-time PFL champion and said that there is no other athlete who can beat her at bantamweight (up to 61,2kg).

“That was an extraordinarily difficult fight to take in the amount of time I did it, and yes, it's one of the best. She is definitely one of the best grapplers in the world, and continues to do great things, and is about to be UFC bantamweight champion. She did what I thought she would do: look easy. There is currently no one in this division that is capable of winning it, in my opinion,” Ladd said.


Aspen ladd e Kayla harrison they faced each other on the closing card of the 2023 PFL season, held last November. The duel ended with a victory for the veteran two-time champion via unanimous decision by the judges.

The premiere of Kayla harrison in Ultimate it happened in history UFC 300 held on April 13th. On the preliminary card of the grand event, the judoka was not aware of the former bantamweight champion Kayla harrison and won by submission in the second round.
