Goodbye, Spider! Anderson Silva has announced the date and location of his farewell boxing fight

Spider still has no announced opponent, but he will say goodbye in São Paulo on June 15th

An era comes to an end in the world of fighting. Anderson Silva, who dominated the UFC octagon for years, will step into the ring for the last time on June 15, in São Paulo, for a farewell boxing fight. The event, called “Spider's Grande Finale”, will be held at Spaten Fight Night, organized by the German beer brand.

The official announcement of the farewell was made by Spaten herself this Wednesday (15) and confirmed by SUPER LUTAS, but Anderson's opponent still remains a secret. In a video posted on social media, a 3D panel reveals the title of the fight: “Spider's Grande Finale”, foreshadowing the final chapter in the fighter's brilliant career.

Since his retirement from MMA in 2020, 'Spider' has already competed three fights in the noble art, as he affectionately calls boxing.
