Ian Garry regrets the refusal of possible opponents and names the closest name to face him

The Irish prospect revealed the names he offered to the UFC and indicated that he could face Englishman Michael 'Venom' Page in his next fight

Top-10 of the welterweight rankings (up to 77,1kg), Ian Gary He doesn't hide his anguish at not being able to get his next fight right. In an interview with 'MMA Fighting', the Irish prospect regretted that the opponents he suggested to the UFC did not accept to face him and said that he is very close to officializing a confrontation with Englishman Michael 'Venom' Page.

“I said yes (to face Michael Page). I said yes to that name. He and his trainers are deciding because he looks a little heavy to lose weight in seven weeks, but I said yes. There are so many names at this point, you kind of lose count. I feel like I went through about eight or nine names. And it's not like, 'No, I don't want this fight. I'm not interested'. The UFC is saying they are not interested. They offered me Colby. I said yes to MVP. I said yes to Sean brady. I said yes, I don't even know his name, the guy from Uzbekistan (Nursulton Ruziboev) if he had won (against Joaquin buckley.

One of the main prospects on the Ultimate squad today, Garry is married to Brazilian model Layla Machado and currently resides in the city of São Paulo, where he trains at the Chute Boxe Diego Lima academy, the team of the former lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg ) Charles of the Bronx.

Number seven in the welterweight rankings, Ian is undefeated as an MMA professional with 14 consecutive victories, half of which are by knockout. The Irishman's last fight in Ultimate took place in February, at UFC 298, when Garry, just 26 years old, beat the experienced North American Geoff neal in the unanimous decision of the judges.
