Sean Strickland accuses Paulo Borrachinha of not signing a contract to fight at UFC 302

Former champion hints at Brazilian withdrawing from fight confirmed for June 1

Fight at risk? Sean Strickland worried part of the fans who are waiting for his fight against Paulo borrachinha at UFC 302. On his social networks, the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg) accused the Brazilian of not having signed a contract for the challenge. The clash is confirmed for June 1st.

“What the hell, Costa (Borrachinha). I heard you didn't sign the contract. I did not believe. I didn't think you would act like a coward. I thought you would be a man of your word. I went to 'google' and gave you the benefit of the doubt. I ended up finding out that after you lost the Israel adesanya, ended up going downhill. I don't know what's going on in his head. (…) You are being a weak man. Do not let me down. Don't disappoint the fans. Let me make you bleed,” said Strickland, in his profile on Instagram.

On June 1st, Sean is scheduled for his first commitment since losing the belt against Dricus Du Plessis. First in the category ranking, the athlete seeks to regain his status as a challenger.

Featured in the top 10 middleweights, Paulo seeks redemption in the division. Number seven in the group, the Brazilian has accumulated three stumbles in the last five matches.
