Mike Tyson sends a harsh message to Jake Paul before controversial duel: 'You will have to fight for your life'

The boxing legend showed respect for the 'newbie', however, he assured that he will not go into the ring to play on July 20th

Always competitive, Mike Tyson made it clear to Jake Paul: he won't get into the ring to play. At a press conference to publicize the boxing duel scheduled for July 20th, the legend of the noble art showed respect for his rival, however, he made it clear that the digital influencer will have to 'fight for his life' in the confrontation.

“I'm very impressed with him, with what he's accomplished. I really like Jake, but once in the ring, he has to fight like his life depends on it. Because it will be. We are friends. There’s no doubt we’re friends, but in this ring, we won’t be friends,” Mike said.

the fight against Jake Paul, which will be held on July 20th and will be broadcast globally on Netflix, will be a big challenge for Tyson. The 27-year-old YouTuber, who has been venturing into boxing since 2020, has already won nine out of ten professional fights and beaten names like Anderson Silva, Tyron woodley (twice) and Nate diaz.
