Last Saturday (06), in a controversial result, Robbie Lawler won John hendricks in the main fight of UFC 181 and won the welterweight belt. This was the second time that the rivals faced each other and in both cases the judges' decisions were seen as controversial by fans and analysts. Precisely for this reason, president Dana White is already starting to consider holding a third duel to clean up the recent rivalry.

"I don't know. A trilogy wouldn't be a bad idea, let's see what happens”, said the director, in an interview with the North American channel “FOX Sports 1” after the event. Dana also said that after another inconclusive result between Hendricks and Lawler, the organization does not guarantee that the title shot will Rory McDonald, announced in October this year, will be maintained. “I have no idea,” commented the president, when asked about the Canadian’s situation.

In addition to talking about the future, White also analyzed the fight and revealed part of his conversation with the matchmakers (responsible for matchmaking) UFC Joe Silva. “I tell these guys all the time: don’t let it go into the hands of these judges. I talked to Joe Silva, who said, 'You can't win a fight with your head between another guy's legs for three rounds.' You have to keep busy. So yes, Robbie Lawler won this one”, he concluded.
