Werdum calls on fans to fill the airport upon his arrival in Porto Alegre

Interim UFC heavyweight champion since November 15th, when he beat the New Zealander Mark Hunt In Mexico, Fabricio Werdum has not yet returned to Brazil since winning the title. With a date set to return to the country, Werdum took to social media to call on the Rio Grande do Sul fans for a gala reception upon his arrival at Salgado Filho airport, in Porto Alegre.

“December 8th, at 18:30 pm: the arrival of the champion. Let's fill the airport! It’s coming guys”, published the new champion on his official profile on Instagram. Along with his image sporting the interim heavyweight belt, Grêmio player Werdum also released an image of the Tricolor fans – which led to a small “Grenal” among fans of the two teams from Rio Grande do Sul in the comments.
