Koscheck returns after more than a year and faces Ellenberger at UFC 184

One of the highlights of the first edition of reality show The ultimate fighter, Josh koscheck is back in the UFC. The veteran was scheduled to fight in event number 184, in February 2015, against Jake ellenberger.

At 37 years old, Koscheck hasn't fought since November 2013, at the event that marked the UFC's 20th anniversary celebrations. On that occasion, the North American suffered his third consecutive defeat when he was knocked out by Tyron woodley in the first round. Before, he had lost to Robbie Lawler e John hendricks.

Koscheck's best phase in the octagon took place in 2010, when the athlete challenged for the UFC welterweight belt and was defeated by Georges St Pierre in the judges' decision.

Ellenberger is also going through a delicate phase in his career. Previously considered one of the great promises of the category, he, like Koscheck, comes from three consecutive defeats, to Rory McDonald, Robbie Lawler e Kelvin Gastelum. Despite the bad moment, Ellenberger is 11th in the official UFC rankings.

UFC 184 will take place on February 28th, in Los Angeles (USA), and promises to be one of the biggest events of the first half of 2015. In the main fight of the night, Chris Weidman defends the middleweight belt against Vitor belfort, whereas, shortly before, Ronda Rousey puts his title on the line against Zingano cat. The attraction will also have Ronaldo Jacare x Yoel romero e Antonio Pezão x Frank mir.
