Hired by Ultimate in 2020, Kape only managed to debut in the organization the following year, after seeing the duels with Rogerio Bonorin e Alexandre pantoja be cancelled. In the current season, “Starboy” has already been cast against Matheus Nicolau on two occasions, in January and April, and both fell due to problems on his part (failure to weigh in and now injury). It is worth remembering that not all the cancellations were the Angolan's fault, but it is worth noting that luck has not accompanied his time in the largest MMA organization in the world.

In total, in four years of organization, Manel kape there were nine cancellations and only six fights. The Angolan is currently sixth in the flyweight rankings and is coming off a victory over the Brazilian Lip Detona, in September 2023, in UFC 293.
