Former top 5 in UFC strawweight (up to 52,1kg.) Taila Santos opened the game and commented on how he felt after not having his contract renewed with the organization, despite being a standout in the category. In an episode that surprised many of the Brazilian's fans, the athlete alleviated the drama of the situation and declared that the real 'loser' was Ultimate.

“I believe that, if I left, it was because there was something better waiting for me. The athlete wants to be recognized. If anyone lost out, it was them. They lost a great athlete and didn't know how to see it. So, I’m calm,” said the Brazilian in an interview with 'Combat'.

Former title challenger, the fighter was one of the few who came close to defeating Valentina Shevchenko, at the time dominant champion of the category. When talking about rivalry, Taila stated that she left with a 'taste of victory' despite not having her hand raised.

“I left with a taste of victory. Because I know I won that fight, but I also deserved a rematch. But they kept messing around, Valentina didn't accept it either and they started moving forward, so it was a bit complicated, it got stuck. But I did come out with the victory. I didn’t leave with a bitter taste, no,” she concluded.
