Amid preparations for his return to the octagon in UFC 300, Charles of the Bronx has reasons to celebrate outside of fights. The former UFC lightweight champion announced this Thursday (28) that he will be a father for the second time. His girlfriend, Vitória Brum, is pregnant with a boy, who will be called Dominic Oliveira Brum.
“Come Dominic Oliveira Brum! Mom and Dad love you,” wrote Do Bronx on his social media, sharing the happiness of the new chapter in his life. The fighter is already the father of Tayla, seven years old, from another relationship.

Charles' focus, however, remains firmly on the fight against Tsarukyan. The combat in UFC 300 is crucial to his ambitions of retaking the lightweight belt. A victory sets him on a collision course with Islam makhachev, current division champion, against whom he seeks a rematch.
Do Bronx's rival will not be an easy task. Arman Tsarukyan is considered one of the biggest talents in the division and has been riding on three consecutive victories, the last of which was over Beneil Dariush in December 2023. The Armenian already faced Makhachev in his UFC debut, in 2019, losing by unanimous decision.
