Two of the biggest names in MMA history, Georges St-Pierre and Khabib Nurmagomedov They were the protagonists of some speculations, but such a duel never got off the ground and remained forever in the imagination of fans. Recently, GSP revealed what his strategy would be if the fight were actually scheduled.
During his appearance on the 'Pound 4 Pound' podcast, St-Pierre told Kamaru Usman e Henry Cejudo How would you handle a possible duel against Khabib Nurmagomedov.

“My strategy if I fought Khabib would be to keep the fight most of the time in the center of the octagon and not be afraid of getting into takedowns. I would have been one of the ones to try to take him down. I took down everyone I faced,” said the Canadian.
In the opinion of the former welterweight champion (up to 77,1 kg), such a strategy would be enough to become the only man to defeat Khabib Nurmagomedov in mixed martial arts.
“I think I would beat him, because if he came to put pressure on me, I would put him down. I would have the confidence to try to take a fall”, guaranteed GSP.
Finally, Georges St-Pierre pointed out the biggest risk of whoever faces Khabib and explained the main difference between his style and that of the Russian in grappling.
“The biggest danger is when he puts his back against the cage, because he is a master of chain wrestling. My style is different, it's more in the center. I'm very good at using feints and creating distractions to catch his legs. I’m a more dynamic guy,” he concluded.
