Jamahal Hill gets tips from Israel Adesanya ahead of fight against Alex Poatan at UFC 300

Former champion bets on 'weight gain' for decisive clash against current light heavyweight title holder

Cast as an opponent Alex Poatán in the main fight of UFC 300, Jamahal hill bet on a weight gain for his commitment on April 13th. Challenging for the light heavyweight belt (up to 93kg), the North American shared an image of a video call with Israel adesanya, the most recent executioner of the Brazilian star and the athlete's great rival in martial arts.

Former holder of the category title, Hill seeks to retake the throne he gave up in 2023. After suffering a serious injury to his 'Achilles tendon', the American gave up the belt to treat the injury.

Back in the Octagon after more than a season, Jamahal has exuded confidence in his new challenge. Recently, the athlete ruled out seeking a fight with the São Paulo native and promised to test himself on the feet against the new Ultimate sensation.

Former middleweight champion (up to 93kg.) and current light heavyweight leader, Alex Poatán seeks to maintain his prominent position in the UFC. Hired in 2021, the Brazilian achieved rapid advancement in the company, having even surpassed Israel adesanya in 2022.
