One of those largely responsible for spreading MMA to the world, Dana White admitted frustration at not being able to promote what he considers the 'greatest fight of all time'. In an interview with podcast 'lex fridman', the 'boss' regretted not being able to confirm the confrontation between businessmen Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Both provoked each other for months in 2023 and even signed a verbal agreement for a fight.
“It would have been the biggest fight of all time. Two of the richest guys in the world. Many people are shitty at each other, they tease each other. These guys were talking about meeting in the octagon and fighting. (…) I was really focused on that. There were numbers, phones to call. I was on the phone with the Colosseum in Rome (ITA). They meant it,” White said.
Founder of Facebook and one of the world's greatest 'rich people', Zuckerberg is commonly seen at UFC events. An MMA fan, the businessman frequently records training sessions with sports stars such as Israel adesanya e Alexander Volkanovsky.
A successful man in the business world, Musk was the one who initiated the challenges to Mark. The actions, over time, decreased and both ended the provocations.
