Saturday night (23) was marked by another spectacular knockout from Acelino Popó on the Danki Fight Show. In front of an excited audience at Stage Music Park, in Jurerê Internacional, the four-time world champion of boxing He dominated Guilherme “Grillo” from start to finish, winning the fight in the third round.
With the theme song “Vai Popó, beat without mercy” echoing through the venue, the boxer from Bahia entered the ring focused and determined.

Popó knocks out Guilherme Grillo in the third round
Popó did not rush into the beginning of the fight, choosing to analyze Grillo's style. With his superior technique, he easily entered his opponent's guard, while dodging blows masterfully. In the second round, Grillo loosened up more and managed to take Acelino to the ropes. The four-time champion, however, remained calm and continued working intelligently, nullifying his opponent's attacks.
In the third round, Popó launched the definitive attack. With a sequence of precise blows, he shook Grillo, who even tried to respond with a jab. But the boxing legend didn't give it a chance and delivered a devastating cross that took the Santa Catarina native to the canvas. Despite trying to get up, Grillo had his team throwing in the towel, declaring the technical knockout and the Brazilian's victory.
With another triumph in his career, Popó continues to expand his positive streak against internet names and boxing newcomers. The four-time champion is already negotiating his next fight, which could be against the former UFC champion Vitor belfort.
