If anyone left the TV during the confrontation between Steven Nguyen and Jarno Errens lost a real 'war'. Members of the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg), the two fighters staged a bloody confrontation, with a lot of exchange of blows at close range, powerful combinations and extreme adrenaline.

Even with two defeats in two fights in Ultimate, Errens did not intimidate or fight 'with the rules under his arm'. At the opening of the sheets, the judges unanimously declared Jarno Erren's victory.

The duel that opened the card of UFC Las Vegas 89 lived up to the 'modus operandi' of the heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg). Two athletes known for having a heavy hand, Mohammed Usman and Mick Parkin were aggressive at the beginning of the match, however, they slowed down as time went by,

In the first round, Usman was more forceful, landing the best blows and even opening a cut on Parkin's eyebrow and causing his opponent to 'stumble' slightly after a cross. In the second half, the Englishman managed to balance the confrontation and started to invest in low kicks, a strategy that confused the Nigerian and made him uncomfortable.

With the start of the last round, Usman once again controlled the center of the cage while Parkin began to respond only by counterattacking into the gaps left by the Nigerian. Showing an evolution in boxing and more physical fitness, Mohammed began to use combinations more and cornered his rival until the end of the fight. At the end of 15 minutes, the judges declared a surprising victory for Parkin in a unanimous decision.
