Antônio Pezão has a desperate duel against Frank Mir at UFC 184

Heavyweights come from great negative series and face each other on February 28th

For the first time in his career, the heavyweight Antonio Pezão has accumulated three consecutive fights without victory. For the North American Frank mir, the situation is even worse. The former champion has had four defeats and hasn't known what it means to win since December 2011. Now, eager to rediscover the path to triumph, Pezão and Mir will face a life or death duel at UFC 184, on the 28th of February 2015.

At 35, Antonio Pezão has a professional record of 18 wins, six losses and one draw. In his last fight, Pezão was knocked out in the first round by the Belarusian Andrei Arlovski No. UFC Brasilia, In September. Already Frank mir, also 35 years old, has a record of 16 wins and nine losses. Former linear and interim Ultimate champion, Mir comes from four consecutive setbacks, to: Junior Gypsy, Daniel Cormier, Josh Barnett and alistair overeem.

UFC 184 takes place on December 28th at the Staples Center in Los Angeles (USA). In the main fight of the night, after a series of postponements, the Brazilian Vitor belfort will finally challenge the North American Chris Weidman for the middleweight belt. In the co-main fight of the night, the bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey puts its title on the line against the also undefeated Zingano cat.
