Known for his lethal ability in stand-up fighting, Chuck Liddell demonstrates that he is aware of how capable he was in his glory days in MMA. Asked about the scenario of a possible confrontation against Jon Jones, the former UFC light heavyweight (up to 93kg) champion, did not hesitate when declaring great favoritism to himself over his dangerous compatriot at a time when both were at their peak.

“I would win by knockout, if you must know. I mean, it would be a fun fight. For me, what Jon does very well is dictate where the fight will be fought, for example, if he is better than you on the ground he will take you down, or if he is better than you on the ground and pound, you know, that's it. He managed to control where many of these fights were held. He wouldn't have been able to do that to me. He wouldn’t have been able to take me down,” said Chuck in an interview with 'MMA News'.
