After months of speculation, the UFC 301, which will take place in Rio de Janeiro, finally has its main fight. On Friday night (15), the organization announced a package of clashes for the long-awaited card, with emphasis on the fight for the flyweight belt (up to 56,7kg) between Alexandre pantoja and the Australian Steve Erceg.

Flyweight champion since July 2023, Pantoja is enjoying a great moment in his career and arrives in Rio de Janeiro on the back of five consecutive victories. In his last appointment, in UFC 296, Alexandre beat the North American Brandon royval in a calm decision by the judges.
Tenth placed in the ranking led by Pantoja, Erceg is 28 years old and is also going through a good phase coming from seven consecutive victories, three of which are in Ultimate where he has not yet suffered any defeat. In his last engagement, at the beginning of March, 'AstroBoy' knocked out the North American Matt schnell in the second round.
Riding on two consecutive victories since moving up to middleweight (up to 83,9kg), Michael Pereira was also confirmed as a highlight of the UFC 301. The 'Flying Paraense' will measure forces with the Tajik Makhmud Muradov who comes from a no-contest and a triumph in his last two fights.
