Even with a brutal victory over Benoit Saint-Denis No. UFC 299, Dustin poirier continues choking on a charge coming from outside the Octagon. The athlete, who has failed in guillotine attempts against his rivals, suggested that the submission could happen in the desired title fight against Islam makhachev. Recently, the athletes signed a verbal agreement for a confrontation.

“I don’t know where the obsession (with guillotine success) comes from. I need to stop (attempting the scam), but I won't. Maybe he will finish Makhachev with a guillotine,” said Poirier, in an interview with 'MMA fighting'.

With the proposal made by 'Diamante', Makhachev didn't take long to respond positively to the attack. The 'agreement' ended up virtually sealed on 'X', formerly 'Twitter', but has not been confirmed by Ultimate.
